Re-Sealing the Granite Countertops

I was able to scrape off some mineral buildup by the disposal button, but there is staining and water damage around the kitchen faucet. There was also an oil stain to the right of the oven where we keep our olive oil and canola oil. I tried to remove the oil with baking soda paste but I think too much time had passed since the oil seeped into the granite.

I sprayed a total of three coats of granite sealer all over the counters. This is the first time we have re-sealed the granite since we moved in, and we will add re-sealing the granite to our list of things to do around the house annually.

I bought a rectangular, ceramic plate for us to use to store our bottles of cooking oil and prevent future oil stains from the bottles.
